In the early years, 1980, the founders of Transparent are importers of Electrocompaniet power amplifiers and builders of the Well Tempered Turntable. By 1985 Transparent begins to distribute and manufacture MIT cables. A few years later Transparent begins to design, distribute, and manufacture Transparent Cables starting with a complete audio cable line up.
The Transparent design model is based upon filter theory and is supported by thousands of hours of observation through listening under controlled circumstances, quantification of these observations through measurement and description, and finally the consistent replication of results in the form of products that perform as intended.
We have experienced, better imaging, less noise, clarity, correct timing, spaciousness; and all these in degrees as you walk up through the transparent line-up. Our suggestion is: if you do not believe that a cable makes a difference in your system, try it… you will surely see for yourselves.
